Chandigarh, August 4, 2025 — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab unit on Monday officially announced the appointment of new district presidents across several regions of the state, aiming to strengthen the party’s organizational structure at the grassroots level ahead of key political developments.

The new district presidents include Dayal Singh Barhmiya for Gurdaspur, Dheeraj Singh Dhoti for Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Gurpreet Singh Khukha for Bathinda (Rural), Sukhpal Singh Babekwali for Pathankot Urban, Suresh Sharma for Pathankot, and Sanjeev Vashisht for Mohali.
