Shimla: The State Cabinet, in its meeting chaired by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, approved the engagement of 4090 para-workers, including Para Pump Operators, Para Fitters and Multipurpose Workers, in the Jal Shakti Vibhag.

It decided to affiliate 100 more schools with CBSE for which a new Scheme will be prepared. For these Schools, 3900 teaching and 900 non- teaching posts were also approved to be filled up under New Scheme Based Recruitment.

It approved the creation and filling up of even posts in the Directorate of Treasuries, Accounts and Lotteries. The Cabinet decided to create three posts of Private Secretaries, one each in the Family Courts at Shimla, Mandi and Kangra at Dharamshala.
