Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today interacted with students of PM Shri Government Model Senior Secondary School, CBSE, in Rohru. He answered the student’s questions and listened to their views and concerns.

During the interaction, a girl student requested a new school building. Responding to her request, the Chief Minister announced Rs. 2 crore for the construction of the new building. He said that if this amount would not be enough to complete the building and that the state government would provide additional funds as required.
Sukhu said that the state government was giving special attention to opening CBSE schools in the government sector. The aim was to provide children in rural areas with better opportunities for quality education, so that they could get modern and high-quality educational facilities similar to those available in private schools.
While interacting with the students, the Chief Minister said that the future of Himachal Pradesh was bright. He said that the state government was committed to make Himachal Pradesh self-reliant and developing it into a financially strong and prosperous state.
