Chandigarh: The Horticulture Training Institute, Uchani (Karnal), under the Department of Horticulture, Haryana Government, will organise five-day training programmes on various horticulture-related subjects during October 2026. Interested applicants from all districts of Haryana can apply online through the official website of the Horticulture Department, kaushal.hortharyana.gov.in.
Sharing more details, an official spokesperson said that applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Registered applicants must bring their Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook and PAN Card when reporting for training.
Under the scheme, bus fare will be provided to trainees through DBT, while boarding and meals during the training will be provided completely free of cost. The department has clarified that applicants who have already undergone training on any of these subjects should not register again for the same subject.
The second programme, on “Fruit Production Technology”, will be held from October 12 to 16, with applications for 40 seats accepted from September 28 to October 11 until 5:00 PM. During the same period, training on “Nursery Management as per HHN Rules-2026” will also be organised from October 12 to 16 for 20 seats. Applications for this programme will be accepted from October 5 to 9 until 5:00 PM.
