CHANDIGARH: Weather conditions across Punjab are expected to remain clear on Monday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing no weather warning for the state.
Sunny conditions are likely to prevail through the day, while temperatures could rise during the afternoon. Morning and evening hours are expected to remain relatively comfortable.
No Rain Expected In Punjab
The monsoon is currently in its withdrawal phase over the region. The withdrawal process began over western Rajasthan on September 19. According to the weather forecast provided by the IMD, Punjab is unlikely to receive rainfall over the next three days.
The weather is expected to remain clear on September 22, 23 and 24, with sunny conditions likely across the state.
Punjab Temperature Update
Punjab’s average maximum temperature increased by 0.4 degrees Celsius on the previous day, although it remained close to normal levels. Patiala recorded the highest maximum temperature at 35.7 degrees Celsius.
Weather conditions are expected to remain largely stable across Punjab over the coming days, with no rainfall warning currently in place.
