Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi today reviewed the progress of the proposed Sector 56–Panchgaon Metro corridor and directed the concerned agencies to finalise the revised Detailed Project Report (DPR) within the stipulated timeframe so that the project can move swiftly towards approval and implementation.
The high-level review assumes significance as the proposed 35.25-km Metro corridor, comprising 28 stations, is planned to connect some of Gurugram’s fastest-growing residential, commercial, industrial and urban development areas.
The meeting, chaired by the Chief Secretary, was attended by Anurag Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary, Town and Country Planning Department, J. Ganeshan, Director, Town and Country Planning Department, Ashok Meena, Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Vinay Pratap, Managing Director, HSIIDC; and Mukul Kumar, CA, HSVP-cum-Managing Director, HMRTC, along with senior officers of other concerned agencies.
