Chandigarh/ Sharjah: Taking Punjab’s UAE investment outreach to the next level, Industries & Commerce Minister Mr. Aman Arora held strategic talks with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) in Sharjah to forge deeper trade, investment and industrial partnerships between Punjab and the UAE.
The discussions centred on strengthening business-to-businesses (B2B) linkages and establishing a structured framework to help enterprises from Punjab and Sharjah identify partners, forge joint ventures, expand exports and build long-term, mutually beneficial commercial ties.

The Industries Minister showcased Punjab’s robust industrial base, vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and strategic location in North India. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led state government has taken decisive reforms to make Punjab one of India’s most preferred investment destinations by simplifying regulations, enhancing ease of doing business and providing end-to-end professional facilitation to investors.
The interaction also underscored Sharjah’s formidable industrial ecosystem, comprising over 3,000 manufacturing units, seven free zones and 18 industrial zones, which offers a strong foundation for building strategic business partnerships with Punjab.

This initiative is expected to serve as a platform for business matchmaking, trade partnerships, joint ventures and enhanced market access, besides deepening Punjab’s economic engagement with the UAE and enabling its enterprises to integrate more actively into global value chains, he added.
