Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini released Rs. 1,890.16 crore directly into the bank accounts of 50,28,208 eligible beneficiaries under 26 different schemes. These include the instalment under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, social security pensions for the elderly and persons with disabilities, financial assistance to needy families under the DAYALU Yojana, gas subsidy for homemakers, Bhavantar compensation for farmers, and incentives to entrepreneurs under various schemes of the Industries and Commerce Department.

Addressing a press conference at Haryana Niwas on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that the 11th instalment of the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi’ Yojana has been released today. Under the scheme, Rs. 212.16 crore has been credited to the bank accounts of 10.10 lakh women beneficiaries.
Over 35 Lakh Beneficiaries Receive Rs. 1,129 Crore as Social Security Pension
The Chief Minister said that Rs. 1,129.05 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of 35,06,841 beneficiaries today under 15 social security pension schemes. These include the Old Age Samman Allowance, Disability Allowance and other social security pensions.
Rs. 19.68 Crore Gas Subsidy Transferred to 5 Lakh Women
The Chief Minister said that under the ‘Har Ghar-Har Grihini Yojana’, a subsidy of Rs. 19.68 crore has also been transferred today into the bank accounts of 5 lakh women who got their gas cylinders refilled during July. Under the scheme, eligible women are being provided a gas cylinder for Rs. 500 every month.
Farmers Receive Bhavantar Compensation
The Chief Minister said that Rs. 49.89 crore has been released today to 6,177 farmers as Bhavantar compensation for potato, cauliflower and honey under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana. This includes Rs. 48.09 crore for 6,012 potato growers, Rs. 46.76 lakh for 99 cauliflower growers and Rs. 1 crore 32 lakh 73 thousand for 66 honey producers.
