CHANDIGARH — Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab in-charge and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Dr. Satish Poonia will undertake a comprehensive three-day organisational tour across Punjab from August 31 to September 2, aiming to evaluate party operations and fortify grassroots structures.
The state tour commences on August 31 in Chandigarh, where Poonia will address a press conference at the state party headquarters in Sector 37-A. He will subsequently convene working sessions with the state social media, information technology, and communications wings before presiding over a crucial meeting of the State Core Committee to deliberate on prevailing political issues.
On September 1, Poonia will travel to Jalandhar to lead a workshop on the PM Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and conduct interactive discussions with state office-bearers, district in-charges, co-in-charges, and general secretaries. The final leg of the tour on September 2 includes meetings in Jalandhar followed by engagements in Amritsar, where he will visit the local party office and pay obeisance at Durgiana Mandir and Sri Harmandir Sahib.
BJP Punjab State General Secretary Anil Sarin stated that the visit will provide regional leadership and cadre direct guidance to build a more disciplined and active organisation focused on addressing public concerns across the state.
