New Delhi: A 21-year-old student and model, identified as Muskan, was fatally stabbed inside her second-floor residence in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Wednesday evening. The victim was reportedly alone at her apartment when the suspect, identified as her gym trainer Imran, allegedly assaulted her with a knife before fleeing the location.
Neighbours alerted by the victim’s screams rushed to the flat, discovering her lying critically injured in a pool of blood. She was immediately transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment but later succumbed to her severe stab wounds. A close friend of the victim stated that Muskan’s family had previously mentioned ongoing harassment by the suspect, noting that similar troubling behaviour had occurred in the past.
Law enforcement authorities have launched a manhunt to locate and apprehend the absconding suspect. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta confirmed that specialized investigative teams are reviewing surrounding CCTV camera feeds to map out the assailant’s escape route, establish the precise timeline of the attack, and secure crucial forensic evidence.
