Chandigarh: State Information Commissioner, Punjab, Harpreet Sandhu, today called on the General Officer Commanding, Western Command, Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh, AVSM, SM, at Chandimandir and held meaningful discussions on India’s rich military heritage and its enduring legacy.
During the meeting, Harpreet Sandhu had the honour of presenting his artwork, “Peacock – The Glory of India,” symbolising the nation’s cultural pride, along with his coffee table book “Sukhna Lake at Dawn,” dedicated to the 75th year of the making of Chandigarh and celebrating the city’s architectural, cultural, and natural heritage.
He also presented his acclaimed research publication, “Wheat Fields of Punjab – The Spirit of Vaisakhi,” as a significant contribution towards documenting Punjab’s agrarian heritage and recognising the Indian Army’s timeless bond with the land and its people.
