Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, while interacting with mediapersons after the inauguration ceremony of rail connectivity to the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in the Nangal Chaudhary area, said that the entire region is poised to emerge as one of the country’s major economic capitals in the coming years. The Chief Minister said that the strong foundation for this project was laid through the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a Viksit Bharat and the efforts of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, and the project is now taking concrete shape.
Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Narnaul MLA Om Parkash Yadav and Mahendragarh MLA Kanwar Singh Yadav were present on the occasion. He said that several major private-sector investors are showing keen interest in the project, which would create employment opportunities on a large scale for local youth. Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh, MLAs and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

Highlighting the infrastructure development undertaken in the state, the Chief Minister said that before 2014, it took around 10 hours to travel from Chandigarh to Nangal Chaudhary, whereas the construction of modern expressways has now significantly reduced the travel time.
The Chief Minister said that today, every district of Haryana is directly connected through four-lane highways and Green Corridor expressways. He said that earlier, transport facilities were arranged after industries were established, whereas the present government has first created world-class transportation infrastructure so that products of farmers, traders and industrialists from Mahendragarh, Rewari and adjoining areas can reach global markets rapidly through the Mumbai port. He said that this project would prove to be a milestone not only for Haryana but also for the economic development of neighbouring Rajasthan.
Taking aim at the Opposition, the Chief Minister said that people would no longer be misled by their false claims and deceptive narratives. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is continuously progressing, and this region occupies a prominent place among the Prime Minister’s development priorities.
Responding to a question regarding developments in the fields of education and healthcare, the Chief Minister said that, in accordance with the long-standing demand of the local leadership, the Maharshi Chyavan Medical College, Koriyawas, has also commenced operations in the region, with MBBS classes being conducted regularly.
He said that with the completion of comprehensive infrastructure development, the entire region would emerge as a new hub of prosperity and industrial growth.
