Oman: An Indian national was killed and nine others sustained injuries after their vehicle veered off the road in Oman on Saturday, according to official statements from the Royal Oman Police. The fatal crash took place along Sultan Said bin Teymur Street.
Emergency response units, supported by the police Air Wing, conducted an evacuation mission to airlift two critically injured passengers from Al Hima Governorate to Nizwa Hospital. Ground ambulances transported the remaining injured victims to the same medical facility to receive emergency treatment.
Law enforcement authorities confirmed that all ten casualties involved in the accident were Indian citizens. While the injured continue to receive medical care, police officials have not yet released specific details regarding the cause of the vehicle’s departure from the roadway as investigations remain ongoing.
