Patiala: Patiala Police have successfully traced and located three Class 9 female students who had gone missing from the city, finding them safely at the Panipat Railway Station in neighbouring Haryana. The recovery was officially confirmed by Superintendent of Police (City) Palwinder Singh Cheema during a press briefing on Sunday.
The three schoolgirls had been reported missing by their families a day earlier, prompting local law enforcement authorities to launch an immediate search operation to track their movements across transit hubs. Police teams coordinated across state lines after surveillance and leads pointed toward their presence along the railway network.
Superintendent of Police Cheema stated that police personnel are bringing the girls back to Patiala, where they will be formally reunited with their parents after completing standard legal and administrative formalities. Law enforcement officials are currently piecing together the sequence of events that led to their departure, and comprehensive details regarding the case will be shared once the inquiry concludes.
