New Delhi: Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke announced on Wednesday that his organization will soon launch a new phase of demonstrations, referring to the upcoming agitations as “Season 2 of Jantar Mantar.” Addressing a public gathering, Dipke stated that the campaign comes in response to growing public support on social media following the group’s previous multi-week demonstration in New Delhi.

During his address, Dipke alleged that the party faced political interference while attempting to organize its volunteers’ meeting in the national capital. He claimed that multiple venue owners refused to rent space for the gathering, citing pressure from higher authorities. Dipke further alleged that after securing a hall, the owners received direct threats warning of severe repercussions if the event was permitted to proceed, attributing the pressure tactics to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

In response to the allegations, party leadership reiterated that political intimidation would not halt their planned initiatives. CJP Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das clarified that regional demonstrations are already underway across the country. Das announced that the party is embarking on a nationwide listening tour to gather public feedback, with a primary focus on educational reforms and student welfare starting on Independence Day.

The announcement follows the withdrawal of a 37-day protest led by the CJP at Jantar Mantar on July 25. That demonstration was called off after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan submitted his resignation and government representatives provided assurances regarding key student demands.
