CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR — Core members of the Cockroach Janta Party are scheduled to gather at the residence of founder Abhijeet Dipke in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on August 5 to deliberate on their strategic roadmap. Sources within the youth-led outfit confirmed on Sunday that activists and volunteers were advised to spend quality time with their families following a month-long demonstration against the NEET paper leak scandal at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
In the run-up to the scheduled August 5 meeting, core committee representatives were tasked with gathering ground-level insights, feedback, and policy suggestions directly from students and local volunteers. The organisation plans to address a press conference immediately following the internal deliberations to officially release its upcoming decisions and strategic agenda. Meanwhile, Dipke engaged with local students, visitors from adjoining districts, and children at his residence to mark Friendship Day celebrations.
The CJP-led agitation at Jantar Mantar drew widespread participation from Gen Z youth across India, ultimately contributing to the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. In recent public statements, Dipke called on central leadership to ensure the complete dismissal of police charges filed against student demonstrators during the Delhi rallies, urging government authorities to address police overreach alongside student demands for systemic examination reform.
