Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday flagged off a fleet of vehicles loaded with relief supplies destined for flood-affected regions of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The event took place at the State BJP headquarters, where party workers and volunteers gathered to extend their support.

The relief consignments include essential food items, drinking water, medicines, clothing, and other necessities aimed at assisting families who have been displaced or severely impacted by the recent floods.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Saini said that Haryana stands firmly with its neighboring states in this time of crisis. He emphasized that it is not just the responsibility of governments but also of citizens to step forward and provide aid to those in distress.

Officials added that the relief vehicles will be routed directly to the worst-hit districts, where local administrations will oversee the distribution among affected families.
