Chandigarh : Punjab’s Forest and Wildlife Preservation Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak today engaged in detailed deliberations with office-bearers of the Janglat Worker Union Punjab, Democratic Janglat Mulazim Union Punjab, and Punjab Raj Van Vibhag Worker Union to take stock of their various service-related issues and demands.
Patiently hearing the concerns raised by the union representatives, the Minister assured them of a sympathetic and positive consideration of their genuine demands within the ambit of government policies.
Reiterating the pro-employee stance of the state government, Mr. Kataruchak categorically stated that no employee presently serving in the Forest and Wildlife Department will face retrenchment. He emphasized that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann remains fully committed to ensuring complete job security and dignity of labour for every worker associated with the department.
The Minister further directed senior officials of the department to maintain regular coordination with the unions and work expeditiously towards the time-bound resolution of pending matters.
Among others present on the occasion included the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force) Dharminder Sharma, CCF (Plains) Nidhi Srivastava, APCCF (Budget) Sourav Gupta, Amrik Singh State President Janglat Worker Union, Rachhpal Singh Jodhanagri State President Democratic Janglat Mulazim Union & Balveer Singh Mandoli President Punjab Raj Van Vibhag Worker Union.
