Chandigarh: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sarder Kultar Singh Sandhwan today paid rich tributes to the great saint, poet, and philosopher Sant Kabir Das Ji on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti.
In his message, the Speaker highlighted that the teachings of Sant Kabir Das Ji will remain highly relevant in today’s world. He emphasized that Kabir Ji fought against social evils, caste discrimination, and religious fanaticism throughout His life. Sandhwan stated that Kabir Ji preached the message of universal love, peace, and brotherhood, urging humanity to rise above narrow divisions.
The Speaker further stressed that the inclusion of Bhagat Kabir Ji’s holy verses in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is a testament to His profound spiritual philosophy and vision for an egalitarian society. He appealed to the people of Punjab to follow the path of truth, humanity and social harmony shown by the great saint Kabir Ji to build a better and more inclusive society.
