New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party has announced a unique and satirical diaper donation drive as part of its ongoing youth-led campaign demanding the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak controversy.

Entering its fourth consecutive day of an indefinite sit-in protest at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, the youth movement took to social media platform X to launch the tongue-in-cheek campaign titled Diaper A Day Keeps Leaks Away. Organizers have appealed to students, examination aspirants, and general supporters to bring diapers to the demonstration site, write their explicit demands for the education minister’s resignation directly onto them, and gather for a mass demonstration. The group asserted that they will ensure the collected items with handwritten messages are delivered directly to the minister’s official residence to highlight the systemic administrative leaks.

The atmosphere at Jantar Mantar remained highly charged as party founder Abhijeet Dipke alleged that the Delhi Police attempted to forcefully reduce the designated protest area late on Monday evening. According to Dipke, security personnel tried to shift heavy barricades to squeeze the ongoing agitation into a significantly smaller space, though demonstrators resisted the relocation and continued their vigil through the night. The Delhi Police have not issued an official response regarding these specific allegations.

The demonstration continues to draw substantial crowds, including competitive exam aspirants, student union representatives, and civil society members, despite being held over regular working days. Demonstrators previously lit candles at the venue in a sombre memorial service dedicated to the students who reportedly died by suicide due to the severe emotional and psychological distress caused by the national examination scandals. The Cockroach Janta Party has steadfastly maintained that its grassroots agitation will continue uninterrupted until administrative accountability is established and the education minister steps down from his post.
