Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who has been at the forefront of coordinating flood relief across the state, has taken ill, prompting concern among party leaders and citizens alike.
Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal arrived at the Chief Minister’s residence to check on his health and extend his support.
Kejriwal’s visit comes during his tour of Punjab to review the ongoing relief and rehabilitation work in flood-affected regions.
Arvind Kejriwal and CM Bhagwant Mann were supposed to visit the flood-affected areas in Punjab, but as of now, there has been no official confirmation if they will now pay a visit or not.
Officials said the state government’s relief operations will continue without disruption as senior ministers and the administration remain actively involved in providing assistance to affected districts.
