Shimla: A meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on the regulation of construction activities in rural areas was held today under the chairmanship of Revenue and Horticulture, Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi.
Technical Education and Town and Country Planning Minister Rajesh Dharmani and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh were present in the meeting.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee approved the model plan prepared for regulating construction activities in rural areas. The approved plan will now be placed before the upcoming meeting of the state Cabinet for consideration and final approval.
Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj C. Palrasu, Director, Town and Country Planning Hemis Negi were also present at the meeting.
