New Delhi: Amid growing controversy across the country over the CBSE Class 12 evaluation and re-evaluation portal, the Centre has reportedly taken a significant administrative step following concerns related to the board’s assessment system.
The action comes in the wake of alleged technical issues linked to the Central Board of Secondary Education’s newly introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) system and the re-evaluation portal. In response to these concerns, CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and the Board Secretary have been transferred with immediate effect, according to reports.
The move is being viewed as a strong response by the government to address complaints regarding the functioning of the evaluation mechanism and to ensure greater accountability within the education system.
