Chandigarh, August 30 – Extending solidarity with families affected by the devastating floods in Punjab, BJP leader and Mukerian MLA Jangi Lal Mahajan has pledged to donate his one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Mahajan said the contribution reflects his and his party’s commitment to stand with those enduring hardships caused by the floods. He urged fellow Punjabis to come together in this difficult time, support each other, and extend help to those in need.

“This is our small contribution towards the families hit by floods. I appeal to every Punjabi to face this challenge unitedly, lend a helping hand to the needy, and ensure Punjab returns to prosperity and greenery once again,” he said.

The BJP leader’s announcement follows widespread appeals for aid as flood-affected regions struggle to recover from the heavy losses to life, livelihood, and property.
