New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan directed the deployment of a specialized team of professors and technical experts from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras to assist the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday. The urgent intervention follows severe systemic malfunctions that heavily disrupted the post-result verification process for Class 12 candidates. The external engineering team will take over technical oversight to implement focused optimizations, resolve server bottlenecks, and secure the portal’s stability against high user traffic.
In tandem with the technical overhaul, the national board formally committed to executing complete financial reimbursements for all candidates who faced duplicate or erroneous transactions on May 21 and May 22. In cases where excess amounts were charged due to payment gateway timeouts, the board will return the exact balance directly to the original transactional account. For candidates who were undercharged, individual notifications will be dispatched to request the remainder, though the processing of their answer sheets will move forward immediately without requiring fresh applications.
