According to an official notification released by the national board, high network traffic on May 21 and May 22 caused severe server lag, resulting in erratic digital transactions. While some students found themselves paying double or excess amounts to secure scanned copies of their answer books, others were undercharged as the payment gateway timed out mid-transaction. Educational administrators clarified that the exact surplus amounts will be deposited directly back into the original bank accounts or digital wallets used by the applicants, completely eliminating the need for students to submit fresh appeals.
The administrative breakdown drew sharp criticism earlier in the week when students and parents took to social media to voice their anxieties over missing strict verification deadlines due to recurrent portal crashes. Taking serious note of the operational lapses, the Union Education Ministry stepped in to ensure that no student would be academically disadvantaged due to technological bottlenecks.
