Shimla: Governor Kavinder Gupta today called on the globally renowned spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj at Bengaluru. The Governor visited the Centre to greet Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj to extend him of birthday greetings.
On the occasion, the Governor held a warm and cordial interaction with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj. The Governor and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj exchanged views on spiritual values, human welfare and the promotion of peace and harmony in society.
The Governor appreciated the invaluable contribution of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj in spreading the message of peace, compassion and spirituality not only across India but throughout the world. He also discussed the potential for the Art of Living Foundation to further extend its humanitarian, educational and wellness initiatives in Himachal Pradesh for the benefit of the people of the state.
