Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda today paid a courtesy visit to Union Power Minister Manohar Lal in New Delhi. During the meeting, he held detailed discussions on various schemes, innovations, and reform initiatives being implemented under the state’s Education Department, and sought guidance for their effective execution.
During the meeting, the Education Minister apprised him of the progress made in areas such as quality improvement in education, digital learning, infrastructure development, and initiatives related to the holistic development of students. He stated that the Haryana Government is consistently making efforts to make the education system more modern, transparent, and result-oriented.
The Union Power Minister appreciated the efforts being made by the state government in the field of education and said that education is the foundation of any society’s progress, and promoting innovation in this sector is the need of the hour. He suggested that technology-based education should be further strengthened so that students can be prepared for global competition.
On this occasion, both leaders also emphasized ensuring more effective outcomes in the education sector through better coordination between the Centre and the State.
