Kolkata: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday released its manifesto for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah outlining a time-bound roadmap focused on welfare, governance reforms, and law and order.

Presenting the party’s vision, Shah adopted a strong stance on illegal immigration, introducing the slogan “Detect, Delete, Deport” as part of the BJP’s proposed crackdown on infiltrators in the state.

The manifesto places major emphasis on women-centric welfare initiatives, including a promise of ₹3,000 monthly financial assistance. It also proposes special health screening programmes for women and the full implementation of central schemes such as Ayushman Bharat across West Bengal.

On governance and economic reforms, the BJP has pledged to implement the 7th Pay Commission recommendations within 45 days of assuming power. The party also committed to introducing a Uniform Civil Code within six months and releasing a white paper detailing alleged corruption.

Describing the manifesto as a “high-stakes, time-bound commitment,” Shah said the BJP’s electoral pitch in West Bengal focuses on empowering women, strengthening welfare delivery, and ensuring stricter enforcement of law and order.
