Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has directed all departments, boards, corporations, and autonomous bodies to clear pending files within 15 days under the Centralized File Movement & Tracking Information System (CFM &TIS).
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has instructed all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, managing directors, divisional commissioners, and deputy commissioners to ensure disposal of cases and updation of their status on the portal within the stipulated timeline.
A large number of files have been shown as “pending” on the CFM & TIS portal since 2025 and 2026. The government has noted that in several cases, files may have already been disposed of at the physical level, but their status has not been updated digitally. All departments have now been instructed to verify such cases, reconcile records, and update the correct status on the portal.
After completion of the 15-day exercise, the data available on the CFM & TIS portal will be treated as final and authentic for monitoring purposes. This data may also be used for reviewing departmental performance and fixing responsibility for delays.
Departments have been further directed to ensure that all file movements are updated regularly on the portal going forward, so that discrepancies between physical and digital records do not arise.
