California: An Indian gangster, Bhanu Rana, has reportedly been killed in the US state of California, with the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang claiming responsibility through a viral social media post.

According to the post, members associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, along with individuals named Sarpanch Europe and Sahil Duhan, allegedly carried out the killing. The message also issued threats, stating that anyone acting “against the country” would face similar consequences.

However, law enforcement agencies have not yet verified the authenticity of the claim or confirmed Rana’s death.

Bhanu Rana, a resident of Karnal in Haryana, had been arrested in the United States in November 2025. He was facing extradition to India in connection with multiple criminal cases, including murder, extortion, and violations under the Arms Act.

The post further mentioned threats directed at Rohit Godara and accused Goldy Dhillon of involvement in drug trafficking and acting as an informant. Several other gangs were also referenced in the message, escalating concerns over ongoing gang rivalries.

Authorities are currently investigating the matter, while cautioning against relying on unverified social media claims.
