Mumbai: The first glimpse of Ramayana has finally been released, offering audiences a visually rich introduction to Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram in what is being billed as one of the most ambitious film projects ever undertaken in India.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the teaser captures key moments from the epic narrative, portraying Ram’s journey from royal life to exile with a sense of calm authority and spiritual depth. Kapoor’s portrayal stands out for its composed demeanor and regal presence, reflecting the revered character with subtle intensity.

The scale of the film has drawn widespread attention, with producer Namit Malhotra revealing that the project has been mounted on a massive budget exceeding ₹4,000 crore for its two parts combined.
