Tarn Taran (Punjab): The name of Harjinder Singh, a resident of Rataul village in Tarn Taran district, has emerged in connection with a truck accident in the United States that claimed the lives of three foreign nationals.

Amid growing speculation, villagers and Harjinder’s cousin have stepped forward to dismiss unverified reports circulating in the media. They emphasized that no court judgment has been issued against Harjinder so far.

Harjinder’s cousin appealed to media organizations to report responsibly and avoid spreading misinformation. He noted that the next hearing in the case is slated for August 27, making it premature to draw conclusions.

The family also cautioned the public against contributing money under the pretext of raising funds for Harjinder. They stressed that such actions cause unnecessary confusion. Instead, they suggested that those wishing to extend support should file petitions in his favor.
