Gurugram: Panic gripped five schools in Gurugram on Tuesday after receiving emails warning that explosives had been planted on the premises. The messages prompted immediate security measures across the affected campuses.
Following the alerts, local police, the bomb disposal squad, and sniffer dog teams were deployed to the schools to conduct detailed searches. Classrooms, corridors, and other areas of the buildings were thoroughly inspected to ensure the safety of students and staff.
As a precaution, school administrations evacuated all students and sent them home while the security teams completed their sweep. Officials confirmed that no suspicious objects have been found so far. An investigation has been launched to trace the source of the threatening emails. Authorities stated that the situation is under control and updates will be provided as the inquiry progresses.
These incidents highlight growing concerns about email-based threats targeting educational institutions, prompting heightened vigilance and coordination between school administrations and law enforcement agencies.
