Delhi: Commuters in the national capital should plan their journeys accordingly on Holi, as metro train operations will commence later than usual on the festival day. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced that services across all corridors will start from 2:30 pm on March 4.
In an official update shared on social media, DMRC stated that trains from terminal stations on every metro line will roll out from 2:30 pm onwards. After the revised start time, metro operations will continue as per the regular schedule for the remainder of the day.
On most days, metro services in Delhi begin at 5 am and run until 11:30 pm. However, like in previous years, the schedule has been adjusted to accommodate Holi celebrations.
Passengers have been advised to take note of the temporary change and make alternate travel arrangements during the first half of the day if required.
