Chandigarh: The Punjab government has carried out a major cabinet reshuffle, transferring the power department from Harbhajan Singh ETO and assigning it to Sanjeev Arora, who has been appointed as the state’s new Power Minister.
With this decision, Harbhajan Singh ETO’s role has been limited, and he will now exclusively oversee the Public Works Department (PWD).
According to government sources, the reshuffle aims to strengthen the state’s power distribution system and improve the efficiency of public services.
