The victim, identified as Aman Sahota, was reportedly surrounded and assaulted by four to five youths in the Ambedkar Nagar locality while he had stepped out of his home for personal work.

According to preliminary information, the attackers used sharp-edged weapons, inflicting severe injuries on the singer. He was found in a badly injured state and immediately taken to Ludhiana Civil Hospital. Due to the seriousness of his condition, doctors later referred him to PGI Chandigarh for advanced treatment late in the night.

Medical sources indicated that Aman may have sustained serious head trauma, with doctors suspecting multiple skull fractures and damage near the eye. A CT scan is expected to confirm the extent of the injuries. His condition has been described as critical.

Aman Sahota, a resident of Himmat Nagar in the Dugri area, is known locally for performing at stage shows and cultural events. His friend Arsh Kumar said Aman had gone to Ambedkar Nagar for work-related reasons when the assailants suddenly surrounded him and launched a violent attack. The motive behind the assault remains unclear.

Friends who reached the spot rushed Aman to the hospital, where he was admitted in a blood-soaked condition. His family has since been informed. Police officials said they are gathering information and will initiate a detailed probe to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
