Chandigarh: Punjab and Chandigarh are set to experience clear weather conditions on Saturday, with no rainfall forecast for the coming days. The Meteorological Department has not issued any alert for rain, fog, or cold wave, indicating continued relief from harsh winter conditions.

According to the latest three-day weather bulletin, dry and clear weather is expected to prevail across Punjab until February 13. No warnings have been issued for the state during this period. While winds are likely to remain active during the day, they are not expected to disrupt normal conditions.

With the change in season, temperatures are gradually rising. Weather experts believe that the peak of winter has passed, and a steady increase in temperature will be observed over the next two days. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear weather conditions to continue until at least February 15.

Despite the overall warming trend, Bathinda recorded a minimum temperature of 7.0 degrees Celsius, making it one of the colder locations in the state.

Cloud Cover Without Rainfall

A western disturbance has reached the mountainous regions, leading to the formation of an induced cyclonic circulation over Pakistan. However, due to the lack of sufficient moisture, it has not resulted in rainfall. As a result, some areas of Punjab and Chandigarh experienced cloud cover on Monday afternoon, but no precipitation was recorded.

Temperatures to Rise Over Next Two Days

Director of the Meteorological Department, Surender Pal, said that dry weather is expected to continue over the next seven days, with no likelihood of rainfall. He added that minimum temperatures may rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next 48 hours, after which no significant changes are anticipated.
