S.A.S. Nagar (Punjab): The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the schedule for new accreditation and renewal of accreditation for Punjab Open Schools for the academic year 2026–27, covering admissions to Matriculation and Senior Secondary classes.
According to the Board, the accreditation process applies to government, private, and model schools affiliated with PSEB. Schools can submit their online accreditation applications without a late fee until April 30, 2026. Applications submitted after this date will be accepted up to August 31, 2026, subject to a late fee of ₹6,700.
The Board has also detailed the accreditation fee structure. For Matriculation, the fee for new accreditation is ₹3,650, while renewal will cost ₹1,820. For Senior Secondary classes, new accreditation has been fixed at ₹4,850, and renewal at ₹1,820 per group.
PSEB further clarified that government and model schools will be eligible for a concession in accreditation fees, as per Board norms.
The online accreditation form will be available on the Punjab Open School Portal and must be filled using the school’s designated login ID. After successful online submission, schools are required to send a hard copy of the completed form to the Secretary (Academics), Punjab School Education Board, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) for further processing.
Schools have been advised to adhere strictly to the deadlines to avoid late fees and ensure smooth completion of the accreditation process for the upcoming academic session.
