PSEB Releases Datesheet for Class 8, 10 and 12 Board Exams

Chandigarh: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially released the datesheet for the upcoming Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 written examinations. According to the schedule announced by the board, the Class 8 examinations will begin on February 17 and conclude on February 27, while the Class 10 board examinations will start on March 6 and end on April 1. The Class 12 examinations are scheduled to commence on February 17 and will continue until April 4.

The board has advised students to begin their preparations well in advance and regularly check the official PSEB website for detailed information related to the examination schedule. Nearly nine lakh students across Punjab are expected to appear for the board examinations this year, for which around 7,800 examination centres will be set up across the state.

As per the board’s notification, all written examinations will be conducted from 11:00 am to 2:15 pm. Around 2.77 lakh students will appear for the Class 8 examinations at more than 2,300 centres. For Class 10, approximately 2.84 lakh students will take the exams at nearly 2,200 centres, while a similar number of candidates will appear for the Class 12 examinations at about 2,200 centres.

To address examination-related concerns, the Punjab School Education Board will also establish a dedicated control room at its office. Students have been urged to frequently visit the board’s website for updates, as all important notifications and instructions related to the examinations will be published online. Access to detailed information will require students to log in on the official portal.
