Chandigarh, December 15, 2025: The Punjab Education Department has announced winter vacations for all government and private schools across the state from December 24 to December 31, 2025.

According to an official order issued by the School Education Department, the holiday schedule will apply uniformly to government, aided, and private educational institutions. Schools will remain closed for eight days, with academic activities resuming after December 31.

The notification was issued with the approval of the competent authority and has been circulated to all concerned departments, district education officers, and school administrations for strict compliance.
