Navjot Kaur Sidhu Accuses Punjab Congress Chief Raja Warring of Internal Sabotage and Corruption

Amritsar — Former Congress MLA Navjot Kaur Sidhu has renewed her sharp attack on Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, alleging internal sabotage, misuse of organisational power and corruption. In a fresh series of posts on social media platform X, she claimed that nearly “70% of Congress leaders are in touch with her,” signalling deepening internal rifts within the party’s Punjab unit.

Navjot Kaur accused Warring of systematically working against Congress candidates and pushing senior leaders out of the party. She alleged that all five MLAs from Amritsar had opposed the person appointed as district president, a decision she said Warring pushed through without consensus.

Escalating her allegations, she claimed that several leaders who now defend Warring are themselves embroiled in corruption complaints, gambling rackets, and cheque-bounce cases. She also questioned why he was “protecting” a leader allegedly linked to a Dussehra-related case.

The former MLA targeted Warring over his past electoral losses, saying he was defeated twice because he was more focused on “destroying the Congress from within” and working in “collusion with opposition parties” than strengthening the organisation.

Responding to Warring’s recent remarks about her statements, she clarified that her earlier comments were misinterpreted. She reiterated that she never said the Congress had asked her for money but only pointed out that she and Navjot Singh Sidhu “do not have ₹500 crore to spend,” addressing speculation around chief ministerial aspirants.

She further alleged that Warring was previously removed from organisational responsibilities in Gujarat due to irregularities related to ticket distribution. Questioning his rising income and property portfolio, she demanded transparency and accountability within the party leadership.
