Chandigarh: Former Punjab minister Anil Joshi has categorically rejected Congress leader Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s recent statement suggesting that he is planning to return to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), the party he quit before joining the Congress.

Responding to the claim, Joshi said the remarks were entirely baseless and misleading. He clarified that he has no intention of rejoining SAD and urged people not to believe in rumours that hold no factual ground.

“I have no idea where she is getting this information from,” Joshi said, adding that he has never met Navjot Kaur Sidhu nor discussed any political plans with her.

Joshi also remarked that such unfounded speculation only adds confusion to the political environment without serving any real purpose.
