Six students injured in collision between two school buses in Rohtak

Rohtak: At least six students sustained injuries on Monday morning when two school buses collided near Lakhan Majra village in Rohtak district, Haryana.

The incident occurred around 8 am, according to local authorities, as a private school bus was en route to Shahpur School. The collision took place at the Lakhan Majra bypass when a second bus, carrying students from another school, rammed into the first vehicle.

Police and emergency responders promptly reached the scene and transported the injured children to PGIMS for treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been fully disclosed, but officials confirmed that the students are receiving medical attention.

Samarjeet Singh, the investigating officer, stated that the circumstances leading to the accident are under investigation. No further details regarding the buses or the condition of the children have been released at this stage.
