Polling commenced at 7 AM under heavy security and continued smoothly until 6 PM. Long queues were seen outside several polling stations early in the morning as voters turned out in good numbers to exercise their democratic right. However, the pace of voting slowed slightly in the afternoon as temperatures rose.

Election Commission figures showed that 11 percent voting was recorded by 9 AM, which climbed to 23.35 percent by 11 AM, 36.06 percent by 1 PM, and 47.48 percent by 3 PM. The final turnout of 59.21 percent reflected steady participation from across the constituency throughout the day.
