Chandigarh – The internal rift within the Punjab Congress has widened into a public legal and political battle. Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, has leveled explosive allegations against the current state president, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, accusing him of massive corruption, land grabbing, and exploiting the state’s youth.
The allegations come shortly after Warring suspended Dr. Sidhu from the party’s primary membership following her controversial claim that a “₹500 crore suitcase” is required to become the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Raja Warring Hits Back: “Mentally Unwell”
Responding to the charges, Raja Warring dismissed the allegations as baseless and challenged Dr. Sidhu to produce any legal documentation—be it an agreement (bayana) or mutation (intakal)—linking him to the Zirakpur land.
In a sharp personal retort, Warring stated, “If I have that much land, let her give me just 10 to 12 acres and she can keep the rest.” He further suggested that Dr. Sidhu is “mentally unwell” and labeled the accusations as a desperate attempt to stay relevant following her suspension.
